I’m a Boston suburbanite and future mother who is untrained in both life and cooking, but that just makes it all more exciting! 

When I’m not reading cookbooks cover-to-cover (or reading textbooks cover-to-cover),I tend to find my recipes from other food blogs that I have become addicted to reading over the years.  They are completely inspiring, though sometimes they take up half the day before I realize it.

I try to write like I’m talking to my family.  For one thing, I’m pretty sure they are the only ones who read on a consistent basis.  But also, that’s when I’m most comfortable – and who wants to read something formal anyway?

My camera is a simple point-and-shoot, so don’t expect miracles.  I finally got a real camera (a Canon DSLR), but you still probably shouldn’t expect miracles.  I recently discovered Photoshop, but since I don’t really know how to use it and don’t have any classes to refer to, the process of learning it will be a long one!

In general, this is all about having a good time and remembering to appreciate the fun and delicious things in life.  Come join the adventure and see the messes I get myself into!
