I thought that I had given you my ancient Joy of cookkkkking ( can hardly write the word) but guess not because your copy looks so new and unstained. I am going to try these new eggs in a fancy basket tho the next time my martha stewart wannabee grandbaby girl comes to visit. It’s going to harder and harder to feed that crew. One thing for sure–Lins has to organize the food on Nantucket this year. I have been praying for this for a long time.
Nope, I never got yours. Mine was a wedding gift. I would love to see yours though!
This recipe for what I call “eggs in a basket” by Lindsay (with an “E”) is a major improvement over what I made Lindsay (with an “A”) and Dan for breakfast when they were little kids. I used “Wonder” white bread for the basket, scrambled eggs in the middle, and topped it with Velveeta cheese.
